Welcome to BarraArisa .Deviantart .com where you can find the art of me, Baileigh Bolten. Before you go peek at my gallery let me introduce my self a bit.

I grew up in a small, but beautiful mountain town in Colorado. My environment inspired all kinds of daydreaming and creativity, and of course, my love of animation, comics and literature did not help keep my head out of the clouds.
As a child I had always drawn, but it wasn’t until I was about 11 years old that I began to channel my daydreams into my art. Ever since then I worked diligently to become better. During my junior year in high school, I transferred to Idyllwild Arts Academy where I graduated in 04 with a major in visual arts. I credit Idyllwild for giving me the skills I needed to get accepted to my dream school, Ringling College of Art and Design. I currently attend that school with a major in illustration and a concentration in comics. I hope to graduate this May. I never dreamed I would be able to produce the quality of work I am producing now, and I owe it all to the wonderful programs and faculty at my school.

A note to my watchers:

I hope this formal journal entry doesn’t seem too odd to you. I some times link professionals to my deviant art gallery so I felt it was necessary to welcome them to my page. Near the end of May, (when my life resumes normalcy), I will begin to post my regular journal entries again. Thank you so much for all of your support and understanding!

There was one other person but I forgot his account name. I hope I find him again because I’d really like to complete the collaboration with him. So that’s it for now. (I also think I might have forgotten other people. If I forgot you speak up!)

I am not open for commissions, so please do not ask me to do artwork for you right now. I have a full plate, and just thinking about the artwork that I already need to do for both school and friends is making my stomach a tad upset.
Once again, near the end of May when I am no longer tied up, I will open for commissions and will happily take your requests.
Also, I have decided that this summer I will finally begin to upload prints, so keep an eye open if you want to buy some of my art.
